Personal Kintsugi

 

KINTSUGI: If a plate or ceramic jug breaks The Japanese, instead of throwing away they fix it painting the cracks with gold to highlight imperfections, making the broken piece in an art object.

 

Personal Kintsugi is a photographic project that aims to raise awareness about the management of sadness and depression, since in the world it is estimated that more than 4% of the world's population suffers from depression where women, young people and the elderly are the most prone to suffer it according to the WHO. In Norway around 15-25 percent of women and 7-12 of men take depression treatments.

 

I think pain can be a great teacher, it can help you to know there are things you must fix in you, but what happen when we become addict to it? 

 

 

 

 

Not without my daughter.

Not without my daughter: This project helped as a therapy to understand how a long time relationship can be destroyed, and the person you love become your worst enemy trying to separate from your daughter. But when you really love some body like I love my daughter, is harder to give up about.
